Temperatures in Singapore may not be considered bike friendly. In addition, one may not immediately think of bike riding when the name Singapore is mentioned. However, there is Sentosa Island and it is a real gem. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Sentosa is the place to visit. There is a lot of history with the old British Fort and interesting flora to be discovered there. Just catch a cable car from Mount Faber across with beautiful views. The bike rental on the island is easy to find.
